Winter Light Spectacular
During December evenings, the Lehigh Valley Zoo transforms into an explosion of twinkling lights and themed displays. This popular event is open from 5:30 pm to 10:00 pm every Wednesday through Sunday up to December 30th except Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Offering hot chocolate and fresh s’mores, guests can enjoy a stroll through the decorated tree-lined trails. Kids will love to meet Santa Claus alongside their favorite animated characters like the Grinch, Princess Belle, Elsa and Olaf, Buzz and Woody, and many more. This season’s display features a snow machine and light shows gleaming along to your favorite Christmas carols. Plus, if you get tired, you can stop near any of the fire pits to warm up and relax. This is a party everyone will enjoy.
Christmas City Village
Hosted at 556 Main St. in Bethlehem, the Christmas City Village is a picturesque holiday market you can’t miss. Streets lined with small wooden booths are inspired by an authentic German Weihnachtsmarkt where you can find one-of-a-kind handcrafted treasures, treats, and more. Free to the public, you can browse and shop here Fridays and Saturdays from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm and Sundays from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm until December 23. Remember to bring your furry friends along--dogs are welcomed guests.
Koziar’s Christmas Village
Once a small family tradition, Koziar’s Christmas Village is now one of the most popular Christmas attractions in the United States. Sixty years ago, Koziar used to light up his rural family property to make his wife and children happy. It currently stands as one of the greatest holiday display in the country and brings joy to one and all.
Located right outside of Lehigh Valley, a display of thousands of lights is a dazzling sight against the dark countryside. With food, live entertainment, and a gift shop, Koziar’s is open every day until January 1, including holidays.
Lights in the Parkway
Drive through a glorious display on the beautifully decorated Lehigh Parkway. Every winter, more than a mile of Allentown’s beloved park becomes an oasis of magic and fun. Celebrating its 22nd year, Lights in the Parkway has added many new animated displays since its inception. The brilliant shows are set to traditional holiday hits, making Lights in the Parkway a real-life winter wonderland. Open every night from 5:30 pm to 10:00 pm up to December 28, the attraction is closed on Christmas Day. Bring the whole family to enjoy this magical journey in the warmth and comfort of your car.
